Consumers purchase a timeshare at a single-site resort or with a vacation club, and if that resort or club is affiliated with Interval International, the consumer becomes an Interval member and can exchange the week or points that he or she owns for a stay at an Interval-affiliated resort. The timeshare purchase is the consumer’s primary focus; the exchange benefit provided by Interval is secondary. Because it’s secondary, there is a knowledge gap. Focus groups and other research show that many members don’t understand how to exchange. This video, the first in a series of explainer videos, describes exchange and details the online workflow. I wrote the script, storyboarded, and provided direction to our producer/illustrator and voice-over talent.
